Some people (just gave up on copy pasting tweets, I cannot even find half the discussion ;)) pointed out shortcomings like lack of syntax highlighting although there are plugins for that.

One problem pointed out was also the lack of software engineering skills of some data scientists and that you should make sure you help them.
